Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?

No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!

I am not living in Osogbo, can I attend?

of course yes! We welcome people from all over nigeria. Note however that we are unable to provide transport or accommodation support. If you will not be able to attend without support, you might be unable to participate in the workshop. Who knows Django Girls might be coming to your location next!! Do go ahead to register if you are really interested, then send us a mail at osogbo@djangogirls.org explaining your circumstances and we will see what we can do. Please be aware that this is not a guarantee of support!

Should I bring my own laptop?

Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.

Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?

It would be helpful to have Django installed before workshops, but wouldn't expect you to install anything on your own.We will make sure that one of our coaches will help you out with this task.

Is Django girls workshop good for a total beginner?

Even though you are new to programming, the workshop is a good place to meet many interesting people in the industry and find inspiration.

Is food provided?

Yes. We belive you can learn better when the stomach is filled.

Be a Coach!

We would be delighted if you would like to join us as a Coach! Fill in the form here, but select the option to be a Coach.

We will contact you :)
