Free programming workshop for women

If you are a female and you want to learn how to make websites, we have good news for you! We organize a one-day workshop for beginners!

It will take place on 11th of October in Kharkiv.

We believe that IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We would like to provide you with an opportunity to learn programming and to become one of us - female programmers!

Workshops are free of charge. Don’t wait too long - you can apply for a pass only until the 7th of October 23:59!

If you are a woman, you know English (ну хотя бы читать) and have a laptop - you can apply for a pass! You don’t need to know any technical stuff - workshops are for people who are new to programming.

As a workshop attendee you will:

• attend one-day Django workshop during which you will create your first website
• have fun learning modern web technology among newbies like you
• get fancy T-shirt to remember this cool Sunday

We have space only for 40 people, so make sure to fill in the form very carefully!

Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?

No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!

Should I bring my own laptop?

Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.

Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?

It would be helpful to have Django installed before workshops, but we wouldn't expect you to install anything on your own. We will make sure that one of our coaches will help you out with this task.
