If you are a female and you want to learn how to make websites, we have good news for you! We are holding a one-day workshop for beginners!
It will take place on November 7th at The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in the heart of Dublin. We believe that IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us - female programmers!
Workshops are free of charge.
If you are a woman, you know English and have a laptop - you can apply. The workshops are female friendly rather than female only - If you are a man and wish to apply that's fine but first preference for places is given to Women. You don’t need to know any technical stuff - workshops are for people who are new to programming.

No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it.
However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what
HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!
Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.
It would be helpful to have Django installed before workshops,
we will place instructions on installation in a email to all with
directions to workshop but there will be people on hand on the day if
there are difficulties with installation. We will make sure that one of
our coaches will help you out with this task.
No! All genders can apply. We want to bring more diverse community into programming.

Yes. Monday is a sprint day, and it's free for everyone to attend.
The only difference is that if you want to attend Django Girls Dublin
workshop, you will have to
apply via this form.
Of course! Workshops will be in English, so if you have no troubles with speaking and understanding English - you should apply.
PyCon Ireland is an annual 2-day Python conference followed by a coding day called "Sprints". Django Girls Dublin workshop will be held on their FREE sprint day. If you are interested in attending the 2-day conference, you can buy their tickets at python.ie/pycon.
No, there is a restaurant and bar at the hotel, nearby Georges Street, Drury Street, Dame Street and Fade Street has cafés, delis, and restaurants.
